CattleMania Chat gives ranchers several ways to communicate with the community.

🌎 Public Chat

Messages sent in Public Chat are visible to everyone in the Waiting Room. Use Public Chat when you want to talk with the entire CattleMania community, share updates, or meet other ranchers.

🔒 Private Messaging (PM)

Private Messaging allows you to send a private message to another rancher. Private conversations are only visible between the ranchers involved.

Use Private Messaging when you want to send a private message, continue a conversation, or contact another rancher directly.

⚡ Instant Messaging

Instant Messaging allows you to have a live private conversation with another rancher directly inside the chat area.

The chat area stays the same, but the conversation changes from Public Chat to a private conversation that only you and the selected rancher can see.

How to Start an Instant Message

1. Find the rancher you want to message in the Online Ranchers list.

2. Click the rancher's username.

3. The chat area will switch to your private conversation with that rancher.

4. Type your message and click Send.

Only you and the selected rancher will be able to see those messages.

🔄 Returning to Public Chat

When you want to return to the community conversation, switch back to Public Chat. Messages sent there will again be visible to all ranchers.

🐄 When To Use Each Feature

🌎 Public Chat:
Community conversations, announcements, and general ranch talk.

🔒 Private Messaging:
Sending private messages and keeping direct conversations between ranchers.

⚡ Instant Messaging:
Quick one-on-one conversations while staying inside the Waiting Room chat.
